Co-presented by re.riddle and architect Anand Sheth during San Francisco Design Week, "Closer Than They Appear" delved into the profound concept of reflection, both literal and metaphorical. Artists like Elizabeth Barelli, Fyrn Studio, Studio Hecha, Andy Vogt and more engaged viewers in a dynamic exploration of how we perceive ourselves and the world around us. Through multimedia works, sculpture, paintings, and installations, they demonstrated how reflection can mislead, multiply, or even undo perception.
