Calexo is thrilled to have been a presenting sponsor at the 1st ever POC Food and Wine Festival.

POC Food & Wine Festival presented by Make it Mariko, a cutting edge event production agency based in the Bay Area.  After 7 years of successful festival production, strategic economic development, and community outreach through UNDISCOVERED SF Filipino Creative Market, Make it Mariko produced their own food festival concept focused on diversifying the food & beverage industry and uplifting local creatives & entrepreneurs of color. 

A two day celebration of the creativity and expertise of POC chefs, vintners, artists and more, the POC Food and Wine festival brought together hundreds of merchants with thousands of attendees.  The closing ceremony for the event was a family style dinner for 60 folks with an infused 5 course meal created by chef Haejin Chun of Big Bad Wolf.  

Calexo is proud to have been part of this celebration and will continue to use our platform to empower POC creators everywhere.
